Blackfriars Achieves Top Marks for BRCGS

Blackfriars is proud to announced that it recently achieved an A+ BRCGS rating in its most recent October audit. 

The BRCGS (Brand Reputation Compliance Global Standards) represents the global standard for food safety and good manufacturing processes and is adopted by more than 22,000 sites in more than 130 countries. The standard is accepted by 70% of the top 10 global retailers, 60% of the top 10 quick-service restaurants, and 50% of the top 25 manufacturers. Blackfriars recognises the need in these standards as a framework for better manufacturing, and has invested heavily over recent years as the demands and expectations from customers has risen.

The audit which was unannounced focuses on 9 key areas including senior management commitment, food safety and quality management systems, site standards and other control and safety management processes.
